QuitQuest

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 5, 2026

QuitQuest ("the app," "we," "us") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

The short version

QuitQuest stores your data on your device. There are no accounts, we don't run servers that store your personal information, and we don't sell your data.

Information stored on your device

As you use QuitQuest, the following is saved locally on your device (and included in your private device/iCloud backup if you back up your iPhone):

This information stays on your device. We cannot see it.

Subscriptions (QuitQuest Pro)

Purchases are processed by Apple. To manage your subscription status, we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. When you buy or restore a subscription, RevenueCat receives purchase information along with an anonymous, randomly generated app-user ID and a device identifier. This is used only to determine whether your Pro subscription is active. It is not linked to your name or email and is not used to track you across apps or websites.

Notifications

If you turn on daily check-in reminders, those notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server.

Information we do NOT collect

Crisis resources

QuitQuest provides links and phone numbers to third-party crisis services (e.g. 988, Crisis Text Line, SAMHSA) for your convenience. We are not affiliated with these services, and QuitQuest is not a medical, crisis, or treatment service.

Children

QuitQuest is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above will be updated, and material changes will be reflected here and/or in the app.
